Princess Aurora, better known as Sleeping Beauty, is known for her gorgeous golden locks and for somehow looking really, really good while under a sleeping curse. This beauty is awakened when Prince Phillip slays Maleficent and finally breaks the spell with true love’s kiss (aww). Channel Aurora when you say “I do” with these Disney-approved ideas:

Wedding invitations
No need to search for the perfect princess invitations, because we have them right here. This Disney – Princess Dreams Invitation – Aurora emulates the princess to a T. The stationery is adorned with embossed, ornate detailing and the combination of light pink and white is truly romantic. But my favorite part has to be the pink layer of paper that sits atop your invitation just like a sparkling tiara.

The perfect princess ensemble
One of the most fun aspects of planning a wedding is putting together your bridal ensemble. After all, this is a look that you’ve dreamed about ever since you were a little girl. Let’s start with the dress. Disney’s designers certainly didn’t disappoint with this Sleeping Beauty-inspired gown. It features a strapless neckline complete with a fitted bodice and a romantic net skirt that flows down to the floor. The embellishments on the waist can’t be ignored either – the crystal beading and purple organza flowers reflect Sleeping Beauty (and her iconic dress) perfectly.

Next comes the shoes. The delicate and feminine pink pair of pumps in our style board are so easy to fall in love with. Romantic pink flowers adorn the toe of each shoe to complement the blooms on your gown.

And last, but certainly not least, is the ring. If you haven’t already seen these Disney engagement rings from Gemvara, you’ll want to take a look. The rings represent each princess perfectly. The Aurora ring features a stunning pink diamond surrounded by other pink and white stones. The gold band has a unique braided texture at the top of the ring, and the inside is engraved with the phrase “Once upon a dream …”

On-theme place card display
As you remember, Aurora pricked her finger on a spinning wheel’s spindle. You can use this famous spindle as inspiration for your wedding decor! If you don’t happen to have a golden spindle lying around, you can repurpose a bicycle wheel to look like a spindle by spray-painting it gold. Hang the place cards on the spokes.

Creative place settings
Carry that spindle theme onto your reception tables by placing a golden spool on each place setting. Repeat the gold detailing using flatware and romantic tea lights. Dress up the center of your table with arrangements of dark colored roses and tall candles.
